Delicious and Nutritious Kale Fry

Elevate your meals with this simple yet flavourful Kale Fry recipe. Perfect as a side dish, this quick sauté recipe brings out the best in kale, making it both tender and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of kale, washed and chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 Dried red chillies 
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3tbsp of desiccated coconuts
  • Lemon wedge for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent

  2. Add the Garlic and dried red chilli pieces: Stir in the chopped garlic and toss the dried red chillies broken into pieces. Stir fry

  3. Cook the Kale: Add the chopped kale to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until the kale is wilted and tender. Sprinkle desiccated coconuts.

  4. Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with a lemon wedge for a fresh, zesty finish.
